Outside is a patio and wild flower natural cottage garden with the clear waters of Cotter Beck flowing alongside it's stone walls. It is a haven for wildlife including red squirrels, many species of birds and butterflies.
Cotterdale is the 'secret' of the Yorkshire Dales and a walker's paradise with footpaths from the doorstep leading to the hills and fells of this spectacular valley. This holiday cottage Hawes is in an ideal base for walking, cycling and touring or relaxing days taking in the spectacular views across the green meadows and uplands pastures, a maze of stonewalls between which sheep and cows peacefully graze.

Kitchen: A ample size well equipped fully fitted pine kitchen, natural stone flooring. A breakfast table, ceramic hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge, slow cooker, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. Fresh herbs for guests' use. With views over looking the Cotterdale Beck and fells .
Utility room : With with original stone shelves, tiled floor. Dish washer, automatic washing machine, freezer and iron/ironing board.
Up stairs:
Bedroom ( A ): Double bedroom with antique furniture, dressed with Dorma Alice curtains and bed throws. The bedroom has a beautiful exposed stone wall with view across the Cotter Beck and fells.
Bedroom (B): Twin bedroom or can be configured as a king. The bedroom features antique beds and furniture. Dressed in Dorma Alice curtains and bed throws.
Bedroom (C): Twin bedroom or can be configured as a king dressed with Dorma Alice curtains and bed throw. This bedroom has antique furniture and a beautiful ceiling high exposed stone work fireplace housing an ornamental cast iron fire.
Bathroom: A spacious fully tiled bathroom, walk in shower enclosure shower, bath, WC, wash basin, shaver socket and hair dryer.
Outside:
Garden: Patio area with garden furniture, barbecue and a large container of fresh herbs for guests' use. The garden also has a picnic table located on the grass.
Car parking: 2 cars directly by the cottage.

Linen: is included in the holiday cottage rental. All our linen is freshly supplied by a luxury linen hire specialists company for the Yorkshire Dales. Your beds are fully made up before your arrival. Included in the holiday cottage rental, duvet cover, sheet, 2 pillowcases per person and a luxurious hand made lavender soap is wrapped in the bedding pack - smells beautiful. tea towel, oven gloves, bath mat, pedestal mat.
For a good nights sleep our bedding is: Fogarty duvets, 1 x Christy Hotel Collection pillow and 1 x Silentnight Memory Foam Core Pillow per person. All our mattresses and pillows are covered with Homedics fully zipped mattress and pillow protectors.
Baby: A travel cot (please bring your own linen), high chair or booster, baby bath, baby carrier baby carrier and stair gate. are available if requested at the time of booking free of charge.
Please note - due to the close proximity of the Cotter beck, children must be supervised.
Pets: 2 well behaved pets / Dogs welcome. (A stair gate is available if required)
